An independent campaign for a greener town

GreenHastings

An independent, evidence-first campaign for a greener Hastings: fewer cars where people walk, a seafront that isn't a car park, more trees, and more of us doing something about it.

Independent and not affiliated with any political party.

The supporter list

500 residents who show up

Most consultations are answered by a handful of the usual voices. A few hundred residents who respond, plant and turn up would change what is politically possible in this town.

What you'd get

Occasional updates (not a newsletter treadmill): when a case advances, when a consultation opens with a toolkit ready, when a working day needs hands. Nothing else, from nobody else.

The email list opens in the next few days — we're setting up its separate, campaign-only mailbox. Until then, subscribe to the Atom feed: every case, toolkit and correction lands there the moment it publishes.

The small print, plainly

  • Separate by design. This list is campaign infrastructure. It is never merged with, matched against, or seeded from the subscriber lists of Swim Hastings or Live Hastings — that separation is the firewall, and it protects both sides.
  • Consent, PECR-style. You opt in explicitly to campaign emails; every send carries an unsubscribe that works.
  • Minimal, exportable, deletable. We hold your email address and nothing else. Ask and it's exported to you or deleted, same day.
  • Never shared. Not with parties, not with the family services, not with anyone.
