Hastings Local Plan — the final draft (Regulation 19)

Expected soon — the previous stage closed 7 April 2026, and the council's timetable points at publication during 2026 · Run by Hastings Borough Council

This is the big one: the Local Plan sets what gets built where for the next fifteen years, and its town-centre policy already commits to "changing our approach to parking". Our Pelham case asks for exactly one thing from it: a site allocation that treats Pelham Place as public open space. When the consultation opens, the toolkit will be here within days.

East Sussex walking & cycling plan review (LCWIP)

The revised plan is due through 2026 · Run by East Sussex County Council

The county is reviewing the plan that decides which walking and cycling schemes get designed and funded, including the whole Hastings network. Our streets case asks it to bring permanent School Streets back to the town that helped trial them.
